Hearing loss can develop gradually over time, making it tricky to notice when it’s getting worse.

Many people regularly get their eyesight tested or visit the doctor for general checkups, but our hearing is often left to the wayside, leaving hearing issues commonly untreated for years.

It can be scary to realize your hearing isn’t what it used to be, but like with any other health concern, hearing loss is best treated sooner rather than later.

If you or a loved one, like many, is feeling anxious about taking that step toward seeking treatment, we encourage you to read the following stories from our inspiring patients, which we hope will make you feel less alone.

Joseph’s Story

Joseph was adamant he didn’t have a hearing issue until his friends pointed out he was struggling to hear what they were saying.

As someone who loved spending time with his friends and regularly speaking in public, he wanted to seek professional advice and find out whether his hearing really was declining.

Coming from a large family, Joseph soon found that many of his family members were also impacted by hearing loss and that he wasn’t alone.

When Joseph first arrived at Hearing Doctors he recalls how “at home” he felt. Calling the hearing test “simple but very detailed,” Joseph realized during his thorough assessment that his hearing wasn’t what it once was.

Now that he’s fitted with hearing aids that are right for him, he can once again enjoy music, family time, and even things as simple as movies!

Rachel’s Story

One day, while Rachel was out for her usual run, she experienced vertigo for the first time. After receiving no helpful answers, Rachel turned to a specialist and discovered she had a tumor.

After having it successfully removed, Rachel was left with tinnitus that impacted her life and her job as a teacher.

When she initially visited Hearing Doctors, Rachel was reluctant to make the financial investment due to personal circumstances, but she was eager to return and explore her options.

Since having treatment, Rachel has no regrets. Moved to tears by the results, Rachel shared that she could finally hear her kids again and get back the confidence and communication she’d been missing.

What’s Stopping You?

We love hearing about the ways proper hearing care has changed our patients’ lives. But we know taking that leap can be hard.

Why is this?

Since 2009 we’ve served tens of thousands of members of our community, and we’ve found there are two key reasons people hold back for so long from receiving treatment.

The first is the financial investment of hearing healthcare. Although this can be a daunting aspect of healthcare, Hearing Doctors can help you. Whether you’re looking for a long-term, premium solution or for a quicker, short-term fix, we’ll give you a comprehensive hearing assessment and walk you through all your available options.

Hearing care is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and what works for one patient may not work for you! If you want to get the most out of your hearing aids, you need to understand your hearing loss.

That’s why we tailor each treatment plan to you and your hearing.

The second stumbling block we come across is the social stigma of wearing hearing aids. When you think of hearing aids, what do you see?

Many people have an outdated image of what hearing aids look like and do.

We work with industry-leading technology that offers you not only premium quality, but also sleek and discreet devices that our patients say remain indetectable most of the time!

With so many options available, why not call today and find out more?
